Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

Need to ammend Idaho state death certificate

My father was married to 2 women at the time of his death, therefore the second marraige is invalid. I need to correct hsi death certificate to read the true and legal facts. His Birthplace is also different than the information that was given by his so-called 2nd wife. HELP My father passed away in the state of Idaho. I have neccesary documents proving that he was still married to my mother at the time of his death. How do I get a case #, so that I can speak with a judge and get a court order to have this changed???? It's going on 2 years now and (I won't quit until this is accomplished.

Re: Need to ammend Idaho state death certificate

Unfortunately, I cannot answer your questions for the reasons as follows:

1. You don't say whether you probated your father's estate. If you did

you should be able to file a motion in that case to get the certificate

corrected.

2. If you didn't file probate for him then you should do so and

you can get a court order making the appropriate changes

3. you have 3 years from the date of his death to file an action

for probate.
