Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

Bankruptcy during a separation of couples.

My husband and I are only physically seperated at this time.

He has very heavy debts and wants to file bankruptcy. I have no desire as my debts are very minimal..Is there any way that I can keep my credit cards and and have my name separated from this bankruptcy. I do not want this. I am not sure if we are going to legally seperate any time soon.

I also dont want to pay for this.

My many thanks,

Kathy

Re: Bankruptcy during a separation of couples.

I'd go to an attorney and file either a legal separation or a divorce where the divorce or separation decree can divy up the debts. You will need an attorney for this tho'. I give a half hour free consultation; teleph # is 208-345-3817
