Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho
Change of Venue?
12/21/93 My ex husb was charged - felony injury to a child. She miraculously lived through this as a five month old little girl. I filed for divorce and helped the state prosecute my ex-husband. I moved to another state. He was prosecuted as guilty. The sentancing judge looked at me and said, ''I agree that this man is a manupulative genious, if he was to go into prison, he would thrive as a great leader and come out worse than when he went in.'' He got his case dismissed from his felony and received a f- time position with the county that took my daughter away and prosecuted him! Do I have any recourse? The last review I had, he was suppose to carry affordable insurance and be responsible for medical insurance. I was told by the child support agent that his wife was not required to carry insurance and I am not going to get insurance from him, and that she knows him well because he does training classes to improve quota for child support. I felt sick to my stomach. Recently he told me he could not carry insurance because his policy says he needs to claim them as dependants on his tax returns. He has never carried insurance. Now he is working for the same county, as he put it ''because they like him''. What recourse do we have?

Re: Change of Venue?
You have a very complicated situation. You do not even state whether or not this case is in the State of Wisconsin. An attorney would need to review your divorce decree and discuss this matter with you personally or telephonically.
This is not legal advice. This is an answer to a general question without all the facts being present. Please contact me at (262) 642-4368 to discuss this further. Victoria A. Oleniczak
