Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

Child Support Calculation

A non-custodial parent is current on all child support payments originally calculated on a regular full-time salary. If he/she voluntarily starts a second job, will the wages from the second job be factored into the child support award amount? And where can I find the child support guidelines legal reference online?

Re: Child Support Calculation

yes, if the other party can prove that the change constitutes a material change in the amount of child support owed.

If the change is less than what the obligor usually pays, the court could keep the CS the same if it determined that you were voluntarily under-employed.

The guidelines can be found at the state of Idaho website at www.state.id.us, then click on the Idaho rules and then choose ICSG at the bottom right of the page
