Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

Child support

My divorce was filed for and granted in the state of California. I now live in Idaho with my 9 year old daughter with full consent of my ex as indicated in the divorce papers. My ex can not seem to pay his support payment in a timely manner nor does he pay the proper amount. He is definately financialy able to pay the required amount. I would like to garnish his wages for the support payment. Is this something I can do myself or should I obtain legal counsel. If an attorney is required should I seek an attorney in Idaho or in the state of California. Thank you

Re: Child support

Health & Welfare can do it for you for free, but they take their time and aren't as diligent as your own attorney would be. Call H&W, child support enforcement division.

Or you can hire an attorney. Generally, you can collect this in Idaho. I give a free half hour consultation in my office. call 208-345-3817
