Child support
I was told that the first payment of child support is retro acted back to the date the the divorce is filed or final. Is this true or is the normal payment made? I filed in May and it became final the second week in June, the first payment is suppose to be made on July 1st.

Ch supp starts on the day the order was entered and filed by the clerk of the court. Unless the court order requires a different date at which the ch supp starts, it starts on the filing date.
