The other child is 13 and does not want to spend all his time with his father and would like to spend more time in his permenant residence. We have joint custody, but I have primary custody.

Re: decision making of child

In ID the age is 15 or 16 depending entirely on the maturity of the child. At that age we usually let them do what they want, if only to see if they like the change. YOu must decide what is in the best interests of your children. Not being 18, they cannot make this decision themselves. Beware however, if the changes ate of a permanent nature, you ex can file with the court to make these changes permanent. I give a half hour free consultation in my office and my # is 208-345-3817
