Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

Step parenting

I have recently remarried to a man who has 2 daughters. We are legally married. The girls by choice call me MOM. Their real mom tells them they cant do that. Are there any legal issues to this. I have been told that they have every right to call step parent mom or dad? Can you please give me the legal rights in Idaho. Thanks

Re: Step parenting

There is no law in Idaho that prohibits the kids from calling you mom.
