Legal Question in Family Law in Idaho

Visatation rights of my ex

My ex, who lives in South Dakota, has a visit for spring break that is in an order and one week after. He waited until last week to tell me that he can't do this, after all the arrangements were made with our daughter's school and other activities. He says he can change the visit to whatever he wants and does not have to inform me of his plans until the last minute, even though there is a set schedule for visitation to avoid this problem and I have sole legal custody and primary physical custody. He has set up situations like this in the past where he waits until it's too late for me to do anything, then tells me what's going on and threatens me if I don't do what he says. Am I obligated to change what is a specific visitation schedule to accomodate him when he has been decietful and could have said something about his school interfereing months ago?

Re: Visatation rights of my ex

No, If he can't do the specified visitation, don't vary the visitation. Follow the court order to the letter and you shouldn't ever be in trouble with the court.
