Bill of sale or Lean holder...who really owns the motorcycle??
I purchased a motorcycle and the bill of sale is in my name alone that I payed cash, when the title was changed into my name it also has the name of my friend who put his name on the title as the lean-holder so he can insure the bike because his insurance cost less than my own. I recently went to sell the motorcycle, and my friend got very upset and told me that he was going to press charges on me for selling a vechicle that was not mine. I bought the motorcycle and the bill of sell is in my name. What do I do?? Is the bike mine or not?? Can he really press charges?? He has the bike at his house, how do I get my bike back?? please respond... thank you for your time JESSE

You own the bike (motorcycle). No I don't think you can
get into trouble by selling the bike. However, that doesn't mean
that he couldn't sue you. If he did, I think he would lose.
He isn't even a valid lienholder because you didn't borrow money
from him to purchase the bike, so he has no lienholder's rights either.
He has no rights whatsoever in the bike.
