Damage to anotherxs property
I have a house cleaning service. I hired an employee through a temporary employment service. She is my employee, I sent her to the agency and they are payrolling her. She damaged the carpet in a house. My querstion is, am I responsible or is the temp agency responsible?

Fron the facts you present, I believe that you are liable to

the homeowner for the damage, although the homeowner could perhaps

also sue the temporary agency. I would assume your contract with the

temporary agency would require that you defend them and pay any judgment.

The employee is also liable for her own negligence.
