Legal Question in Immigration Law in Idaho
Can't Stay with him
I am married to US citizen for 4 years and a half, I just got my green card 2005, He asked me to leave the house, and for sure he will divorced me soon, our marriage doesn't work out from the beginning, my question is If he divorced me what happened to my conditional status or citizenship? Do I have to wait for 3 years before he could divorced me and not to jeopardize my PR status? I hope you can give me some info coz I really don't want to stay in this house. I want to get out away from him. Thanks a lot.

As soon as the divorce is final you can file a Petition To Lift the Conditions on Residency and seek a Waiver in connection therewith.
