Legal Question in Employment Law in Idaho

Is employment enough consideration for a non-compete

I recently resigned from a job that had a non-compete, in reviewing the agreement, it states ''For Good consideration, and in consideration of my being employed by...''

I understand the ''and in consideration'' to mean that I will be employed by the company, but what does, ''For Good consideran'' mean? Should I did not recieve any other consideration for this agreement other than employement. Does the first part of the agreement mean that there should have been further consideration in addition to the employement? Is my former employer in breech because they provided no no other ''good consideration''?

In short, would this make the non-compete void, or could I ask for ''good consideration'' to be extended to me know such as a severence package?
