Can i get leave for death of family member

Is there any state or federal requirement that requires i be granted (unpaid)leave from work to attend the funeral of a family member. Specifcally a grandmother.

Only your employer can tell you that.

DO you have an agreement? Are you in a union? DO you have an employee handbook?

Vacation time? Personal Time?
