Legal Question in Employment Law in Idaho

Work Hours

My old place of employment, a manual labor job we work as teenagers, just forced my friend (under penalty of being fired) to work from eight in the morning until four-thirty the next morning. Is this legal in a warehouse with no A/C and which requires no credentials upon being hired?
