Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Idaho
Renter with Medical Issues
I own my home and have rented out one bedroom and living area to be shared. After she moved in, she presented at least 20+ prescriptions for medications she is on and informed me she has Epilepsy and has an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Question: Should my lease agreement mention that I am not to be held liable if anything should happen to her?

Re: Renter with Medical Issues
Hope you have good insurance. There are some things you cannot contract away, and LL's have certain basic responsbilities, which your situation enhances due to common area living arrangements. If you don't already have a lease, you are going to need a good one.
Are you aware of the Americans with Disabilities Act?
