Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Idaho
hospital and dr neglect and malpractice
Less than 2 years ago, I went through a total hysterectomy due to the unhealthy cells found in a previous surgery. I had asked for the hysterectomy due to my condition and my family history rather than the first scraping type of surger. The Dr insisted, after I said I didn't want to do that. One week after he told me I needed the second one.
While in the hospital, my arm was pulled out of socket, and my head was severely hit while the nurses tried to pull me up on the bed. There were witnesses. My vein blew and the anti biotics flooded my arm for 2 days before they fixed it. 4 days later, I had to go back for a staph and strep infection. I asked them to give me a culture, they didn't and gave me anti biotics that didnt work. I begged both the Dr and the hospital to help. Neither did. Finally, I went to another obgyn that sent me directly to a surgeon. I had another surgery and ended up loosing my husband, my job, and my health. Two years later, I am still in pain and am being sued by the hosptial for not paying the amount they want each month, although I am paying. Does it look like I have any kind of case.

Re: hospital and dr neglect and malpractice
Whether you have a case depends entirely on Idaho law, and not being an Idaho attorney, I can't tell you definitively if you do or do not. However, the injuries you relate, if all tied to the surgery and to definitive medical error, could be a case.
You should contact an attorney in Idaho as soon as possible as medical malpractice cases have a very short statute of limitations.
