Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

I have a class 3 felony from 23 years ago in the state of Illinois. This is the only thing on my record and I am looking to get it removed. I have researched that I need to file for clemency right? I would have to do that thru the state of Illinois (I live in another state now)? Can you get me to a starting point?

Filing for executive clemency is a thorough process. Take a look at the requirements through the Illinois Prisoner Review Board.

I would recommend having an attorney help you with the petition to make sure you present the most complete petition possible.

If you have any questions you can contact my office at 773-791-9682.

Good luck
