Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
Recently people I work with have complained that they're not being paid for the amount of hours they're working. They even started printing up their time sheets as they clock in and out. I noticed that my hours seemed much shorter and began to do the same. Upon reviewing my time sheet, i noticed that when i clocked in Mon morning, it read 42.50 hours. But at the end of the day when i clocked out, it said only 39.00 hours. That really upsets me to think that I'm not being paid for the hours I'm working. A few times a week, we have to work 10-12 hour days. What can we do about this?
