Legal Question in Disability Law in Illinois
I have a case going to court friday and I am suite my old company on discrimination. They know I did not have a lawyer and I can't paid for one and did all the paper work myself. They offer me a very low amount is it ok to not take it and can I ask for more due to the case.

If you are handling it yourself you can do what you like, it's all your risk. You know there are legal clinics and pro bono lawyers, right? Have you even checked w/ your local area's bar association for a lawyer referral that might work for you? Based on your zip code you're near De Kalb and either a local legal clinic, or perhaps law firm that helps students, or bar association can point you in the right direction. Good luck.
