Legal Question in Administrative Law in Illinois
Can you fight a medical discharge from the Navy with service under 6 months? My adopted son donated blood as "recommended" and was diagnosed with Hep C. He does not have any symptons and has no problem performing duties. He was told he is exactly the kind of seaman they are looking for. He is distraught and does not know how to proceed. He wants to remain in the Navy and make a career of it.

He can most certainly "fight" an administrative discharge proceeding. He should immediately make an appointment with his local NLSO and discuss this with an active duty navy lawyer.
