Is it legal for a family member to directly manage another family member?

Parents do this all the time. Anyone appointed as a guardian usually does too. Some parents are relative foster placement parents so yes again. And then again there are situations where there are powers of attorney -- both for finances as well as health care and other things. You need to be much more specific for any answer to be helpful.
