If an employee who has keys to a retail store, for the front doors, dropbox and safe and she decides not to come back to work and doesn't quit or turn in their keys, is their any legal action we can take in this matter? (This employee has the only keys to her dropbox which contains her $75 bank and we are unable to open it)

Good morning. This is a potentially dangerous situation. You want to protect yourself personally as well as your assets. I suggests that a letter be written to the former employee demanding the return of the keys. You may wish to contact the local police and make a police report because this does constitute theft. However, initially you may wish to have an attorney contact her via letter.
