Legal Question in Banking Law in Illinois
I bought a 2012 malibu with my wife being the co-signer about 5 months ago. My wife is the owner of a 2010 colbalt the i am a co-signer of. They put both cars on the same account. I did not want that so i went in to get it changed. They did just for me with no problem. About two weeks later i received the title to my malibu, signed and dated over to me. With that i received a letter thanking me for my service. my question is, can i legally keep that title or do i need to contact them about this mishap?

The fact that you are asking the question indicates to me that you know the answer. Trying to cheat the bank could be construed as fraud.
