co- signed a lease for automobile
hello ~ about 2 years ago i co-signed a lease for an automoblile for a friend. i no longer have contact with this person, and i want my name off the lease. this person will not refinance. is there any way to take my name off without this person's help? i do not want to be responsible for any stupid mistakes this other person makes that may possibly damage my credit history. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

None of which I know. You could try contacting the finance company, but I doubt it would let you off of the contract.
