Legal Question in Banking Law in Illinois
Hi, my name is Taquella and when I was about.12 someone opened up a bank account in my name and overdrew the account 3,000 dollars can I sue the bank and If so how much can I sue them for? I found out about it at the age of 18 when I wentgo open oup an account and was denied.how much is this case worth?

Can't say. Whose money was in the account? If it was your money and it was a custodial account the custodian may have had a right to take funds out. But not overdraw, and that would be the custodian's responsibility to you and the bank. But there should be no reason if you were a minor and this was a custodial account that any bank should deny you the ability to open your own account.
