Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Using c/o address
When I file for bankruptcy, can I use a c/o address (my brother's house) as my mailing address. My mail is just thrown in the hallway of my apartment building and my landlady sorts through everyone's mail.
I am afraid of being asked to move if she sees anything from a bankruptcy lawfirm or with the words ''bankruptcy court'' on the envelope.
Thanks.

No problem, the court will ask for a mailing address and you can even place a PO Box address.
