Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

Bad Credit Report

My friend had some bad luck and became delinquent in her bills and the bank forclosed on her home. She never filed for bankruptcy. She now has a very bad credit report and can not apply for residency on a mobil home park even tho she is paying cash for her mobil home. If she files bankruptcy, will this wipe her bad credit report clean. In other words, will her credit report show her bad paying record or will her credit report show favor with her new creditors?

Much more info required. . .

Does she still have delinquent bills other than the foreclosure of her home? Has the foreclosure been completed?Bankruptcy stays on a person's credit history for several years depending on the Chapter filed; however, other judgments or foreclosures on a record are just as damaging.Recommend she contact counsel asap in order than such a determination might be made.
