Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

If you are ordered to pay off a creditor and they have a lawyer and a judge has ordered you to start making your monthy payments can you file bankrupcy on this since you cannot make the monthly payment. I am affriad if I do file bankrupcy that they will still try to get their money

As long as it isn't Child Support or something similar that isn't dischargeble a bankruptcy will stop their collection attempts. If you do owe child support, taxes, restitution, bankruptcy isn't going to help you. You should consult an attorney.
