Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Bankruptcy. Back wages owed
Back wages are owed to me. Have letter form employer stating wages are owed. Filed suit but filed suit on president of company but also put bussiness name. Beleive bussiness might have filed for bankruptcy. Is there a way to find out if he did. Judge dismissed case because of it being a
CORP.

Your question is unclear. If someone owes you wages and they file a bankruptcy, you should file a Proof of Claim for the wages that are owed to you. Generally, back wages are a priority claim which would get paid ahead of general unsecured claims. The time to file a claim generally passes very quickly. Sometimes (in No Asset Cases), the Court indicates that claims are not required to be filed unless notified later.
