Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Bankruptcy after name change
I had a full legal name change done about 2 years ago and now I am wanting to file bankruptcy. I need to know what all needs to be done so that I can file appropriately, since all of my credit is pretty much under my old name. I do have a car in my new name and do not wish to claim that on my bankruptcy, if that is possible. I am married and my wife does not wish to file with me. I just want to be sure of what all I need to do so that I can clear my credit and get a fresh start.
Thank You

The petition has a portion for "aka's". No problem.
