Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

Bankruptcy claim

My ex-boyfriend and I purchased furniture under both of our names I'm the primary account holder and he is the co-signer now he is thinking of filling for bankruptcy does it affect me in any way? and can I get his name out of the contract because I'm willing to continue paying for the furniture??

It mostly effects you because if they can't make him pay you have to pay, but if you are paying anyway, it should not effect you. I recommend you confirm this with the lender though.
