i have a loan and a house mortgage with my name and my ex girlfriends name on it she is declaring bankruptcy so do i need to do that?

If you are planning to keep the house and continue to pay for it, there is no reason to file bankruptcy. But if she is on the deed, you are probably going to want to do something to get her off the deed if she isn't contributing to the mortgage payments. If that isn't your situation then it really depends on your circumstances.

No. But know you are stuck as the only person liable for the home.
