Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Bankruptcy
I recently lost my job making $21.50 an hour working at Toyota in Princeton, In., the best I could find in the area is a job making $13.75 an hour. We were living on the edge of our income before and now we are starting to fall behind. I would like to know if we should seek help under the bankruptcy laws. I am 54 and my wife is 56, she can not work due to an auto accident 61/2 years ago in which she suffered a head injury that has left her with short term memory problems. There's not a lot available in this area of south-eastern Illinois. Thank you for your time.

Re: Bankruptcy
If you do not have much left at the end of the month, and you do not have many assets of significant value, it may be advisable to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy.
You can contact me and I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

You should consult a bankruptcy lawyer in your area as soon as possible. Or sooner. Good Luck!
