Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
bunKrupcy on judgement
I filed the lowsuit against my ex-boyfriend who chardged my credit cards. He told me if I do it and I will have judgement aginst him, he will file the bunkrupcy and he will never pay me back. Is it true. He can do it. If so, how it can be prevented,

If he used the cards without your permission you can add a count of fraud in your complaint. Monies obtained by fraud is not usually dischargable.
