Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

i owe $13,000 credit card. no job. not a home owner. accrued debt prior to marriage. wife has money. i own one vehicle. am i eligible? will it affect my wife's credit?

You can file on your own. Wife's credit generally not affected...it is all your debt and she is not a cosigner. If she cosigned, could present a problem with a single filing. Where do you live?
