College Transcript

If you have filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy and included a balance that you owed to a college can they legal hold your transcripts?

Debts for college loans are not typically dischargeable. This appears to be something different. I would think that a failure to transmit transcripts, after an appropriate fee was paid, might violate the mandatory injunction provisions of the Code. It is really hard to say based on what information your provided. Why don't you consult your bankruptcy counsel??
