Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
My company filed chapter 11 and terminated our severance plan just before filing. Many of us are losing their jobs for sure. I am one of them. I just received a notice of a 341 meeting. Do I have any rights to file a proof of claim for the loss of my severance?

Yes, you can always file a proof of claim. Your former company can object to that claim but you should still make it.
