Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
I currently have condo association fees left over from a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which I am not questioning, but they have added fees which are not 90 days old. Is it legal for a collection agency to add fees which are not 90 days old to an existing ledger and try to collect fees on them?

The relevant issue is: were the condo association dues discharged in the Chapter 7 bankruptcy? The condo association or collection agency cannot collect or demand from you any debt that was discharged. If the collection agency is adding collection charges which genuinely accrued or were incurred since the discharge, then, yes, it can try to collect such charges.
