can a credit card company be awarded a judgement to put a lien against your home or garnishment of wages?

Yes, if the creditor sues you, they can record a lien against your home for the balance. They then can garnish your wages, normally up to 15% of your check to pay back the debt. A bankruptcy can prevent this,so contact me if you would like further info.
