Discharable student Loans

I am ineed of some advice,

I have a bankruptcy that was discharged in Oct of 1998. And I was told by my attonery at the time that two of my loans were discharable because they will cause undo-harm to me and me dependents and also the loans are not from the goverment.And now my attorney no longer works for the firm I had for my Bankruptcy through! So no one can help me I recieved no bills from these loans from june through oct now i get bills that say 3 to 4 months passed do but my credit report shows that the loans are current! I am lost please help me!!!

As a seminal matter, most student loans are not dischargeable in bankruptcy. SOME are, and SOME can be discharged on the basis that you simply can't afford to pay, which is a factual basis for non-payment. If the latter (the factual basis) a hearing before a United States Bankruptcy Judge is necessary, and you didn't state that that happened.
