can a family member sue you if you are in a bankruptcy?

Generally no one can sue you when you are in a Bankruptcy. Family members can continue suits for child support while you are in Bankruptcy. It really depends on what the family member is suing for, the stay in Bankruptcy can always be lifted and the lawsuit will continue, as in the case of mortgage foreclosure.
