Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
filed chapter 7 in april of 2010. just traded my van for a new one this year 2011 found out there was a lien on the van. can my bankrupty remove it since the personel loan was discharge from the bank that put the lien on it.

No. The personal loan was discharged but Chapter 7 does not permit the removal of voluntary liens.
