Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
If I have filed chapter 13 can I sell my house? I live in the state of Illinois.

you can sell the home, sure. You will need to get court approval. once you have a sales contract, be sure that it is contingent on court approval. use that contract as an exhibit in your motion to sell. Once approved, you can finish up the sale. You may need to bring a motion to modify the plan as well, if your expenses are changing as a result of having to rent then. Good luck!
