Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
I filed chaptor 7, 3 years ago. We are in the middle of buying a new house and found a lien on the property that was given up in chaptor 7. My Lawyers say I just need to provide a notice of discharge to the other lawyer. The law office the put the lien says they need more then that. The Lien was for a credit card debt that was included in the chaptor 7. What should I do?

Your lawyer is right. Listen to him/her. If the other lawyer is a PIA, then you can file a motion for violation of the Discharge Order in BK court.
