Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Forclosure question
Hello I have a question about forclosure my husband and I forclosed on our condo in illinois about 8 months ago. We never filled out any paper work stating we where filing forclosure my husband just called the bank told them he couldnt pay and that was it we moved out of town and haven't heard from the bank since then how can I know if everything was finalized ?

The county where the condo is would have the court records regarding the foreclosure. You will know it if finalized if there is an order confirming the sale.

Call the "recorder of deeds" for whatever county the condo was in. They will tell you where to look for the records.
