Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

Does it hurt your chances for getting a home

Hello:

I would like to know if getting a home after bankruptcy is possible. I heard it used to be that way, but that isn't the case anymore. And does it make a difference on what kind of debt you file against, like is it better if you file on medical bills, rather then credit card debt, or unpaid loans, when it comes to rebuilding your credit? Could you please get back to me as soon as humanly possible, thanks for your help. Sincerely

Getting a home after filing a bankruptcy is possible. Generally what you file on does not affect rebuilding your credit after filing a bankruptcy. When you file, you must provide all of your debts. If you would like more information please contact my law firm Leeders & Doyle, Ltd. at 312-427-7400.

Thank you,
