If someone files bankrupty and subsequently gets married before it is final would the new spouses finances become a factor?

Bankruptcy chapter 7, is measured for the most part as to the instant the case was filed, i.e 1/9/02 @ 9:32 a.m., and what could happen later is not measured except for inheritances.
