Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Legal Malpractice
We filed Chapter 13 bankrupcy and our lawyers are not doing their job. They have allowed creditors to obtain judgements and we still continue to have people sue us. What recourse do we have against them?

I would find it highly unlikely that anyone would sue you while the Automatic Stay was in effect. Perhaphs you should make an appointment with another BK lawyer to find out what is happening? Maybe you should speak to your lawyer??
