Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
I live in Illinois I filed a complete bankrupcty my mobile home was in the bankruptcy it was completed in Dec. 2009. My lawyer said I would have the title in two weeks but I never got it. The company says they mailed it I never got it. I have constantly bugged my lawyers paralegal it is now the end of March and still no title. Can I sue the company for breeching on the contract that was establised during the banking. My second queston is I am on disability is it possible to get more money they deciced on because I worked most of my life. Thanks Gary

Gary:
1. Mobile Home: Why not first try the Illinois Secretary of State's office and see if (a) the title was sent there erroneously to clear any lien and simply wasn't reissued and (b) apply for a lost title (even if you may have to get any lien that shows up cleared again). Do you want clean title or to sue the bank for money? Sounds like you'd probably just want the title, and unfortunately sometimes things go awry....
2. No clue because you don't identify what kind of disability and it would probably take a complete file review, which can not be done in this on line setting.
